Walking Trekking and Climbing

We run trips in all areas of Europe but we specialise in the most spectacular part of the French, Swiss and Italian Alps. We have divided the area into three each represented by one of Europe’s three most famous mountains, Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn and the Eiger.

There is an unlimited choice of walking, trekking and climbing itineraries and all can be altered to suit different budgets, group sizes and aspirations.

Chamonix and Mont Blanc – Mont Blanc is Western Europe’s tallest mountain, 4810 metres, and many climbers attempt its non technical summit. Chamonix lies at its foot, and is a charming mountain town and an ideal base to discover trekking options in the valley or to start the classic Tour du Mont Blanc trekking circuit.

Chamonix to Zermatt; The Haute Route

Zermatt and the Matterhorn - The Matterhorn is Europe's most iconic mountain. The region around Zermatt, a chic and fashionable mountain resort, is a walker’s paradise. Locally there are many superb trails suited for all levels of walker, alternatively the Matterhorn Circuit could be attempted. The area has many 4000 metre mountains and is the ideal place to try something a little higher.

The Bernese Oberland and the Eiger - The north face of Eiger is one of the world’s toughest climbs, but is also the most stunning backdrop to treks in the area. The Bernese Oberland is a wonderfully green and lush rolling landscape with huge glaciated peaks and shear cliffs soaring from it. A brilliant area for scenic hikes and wild flowers. Behind the Eiger is Europe longest glacier.

Other Areas - We run trips further a field than just the Alps and have experience in the Dordogne, Pyrenees, Province, Corsica (France) Dolomites, Asota Valley, Sicily, Amalfi coast (Italy). If you have an itinerary that is not in the Alps but would like our operational help with, don’t worry. All work we do will be run to the same exacting standards and attention to detail.
