If you enjoy working with people in the outdoors, a position as a tour leader could be the perfect job for you.
We
are looking for leaders who are;
> friendly, sociable and approachable
> knowledgeable and
> punctual and organised
> skilled at anticipating and solving problems before they occur
> responsible and caring
>
and finally have all the necessary life skills to confidently lead a group and feel that they would enjoy the challenge of being a
tour leader.
We don’t throw you in at the deep end! At the beginning of each season we provide training where experienced leaders
will instruct you in the day to day routine of each trip and pass on tried and tested methods of leading successful group
holidays. This initial training is then supplemented with on trip training and regular visits from us throughout the season.
We
look for a variety of different leaders
Walking leaders with IML or ML qualifications
Leaders with extensive walking experience
but no formal qualifications
Support leaders to look after camp logistics and catering
Discovery group leaders
Families group leaders
