The Shadow of the Matterhorn

 A week trekking in the Zermatt valley staying in hotels and mountain huts with an optional ascent of the Breithorn (4164m).

 

Group size: 7 to 14 plus leader

 

Duration: 8 days total - 5 walking days, 1 free day, 2 travel days

 

Grade:  Moderate (Breithorn climb – strenuous)

 

Departures: 6 - between mid July to mid September

 

Accommodation: Twin share in hotels and 3 nights mixed dormitories in mountain huts

 

Service:

6 x breakfast, 5 x picnic lunch, 3 x dinner (mountain hut days)

Transfer to and from Geneva Airport
